Anti-Drug Awareness Session for Students
The leadership and tutors of the Faculty of Economics at Karshi State Technical University organized a roundtable discussion on "Drug Addiction – The Plague of the Century." M. Islomova, senior physician from the Regional AIDS Prevention Center, and Captain A. Kattamov, the university’s prevention inspector, participated. Students were informed about the harmful effects of drug use and preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle practices were promoted. This initiative contributes to strengthening youth health and well-being, supporting SDG 3 – Promoting Healthy Lives and Well-being.
Promoting Healthy Lifestyles Among Students
The Faculty of Geology and Mining at Karshi State Technical University organized an event titled “We, the Youth, Support a Healthy Lifestyle.” Tutors and second-year students of the Applied Mineral Geology and Exploration program participated. During the session, students received essential information about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and had their questions answered. This initiative contributes to strengthening youth health and well-being, supporting SDG 3 – Promoting Healthy Lives and Well-being.
